Information for Applying for a Job

  • Who will notify me that my application has been approved or disapproved? The appointing authority would contact you directly for interviews and/or additional information needed for your application approval.
     
  • Do I need to re-apply if I have applied for the same vacancy previously? Yes. If the appointing authority is re-advertising, they are actively recruiting for their vacancy. You should re-submit your application and up-dated information to the appointing authority.
     
  • Do I need to apply for the examination when it is announced if I have already applied for the vacancy? Yes. Although you may have applied for the vacancy with the agency, when it was posted provisionally or temporary, you must also apply to take the examination with the Personnel Department.
